Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a widely respected global
nonprofit, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our
Printing Media department. This role is pivotal in producing
printed materials that aid in our mission to provide relief,
development, and peace initiatives worldwide. As a Machine Operator
at MCC, you will handle the efficient operation of printing
machinery, ensure the quality control of printed materials, and
contribute to our efforts in sustainable production practices. This
position requires precision and a commitment to producing
high-quality work that reflects the values and needs of the
communities we serve. Operate printing machinery with accuracy and
efficiency, ensuring all products meet MCC's quality standards. Set
up machinery for production runs, and perform regular maintenance
checks to prevent machine downtime. Monitor the printing process to
avoid errors and ensure a high-quality output. Record production
metrics like quantity, type, and quality of goods produced,
adhering to production schedules. Adjust machine settings for
different types of printing jobs and troubleshoot any issues to
minimize waste and downtime. Collaborate with the production team
and other departments to enhance the printing process and
contribute to project planning. Proficiency in operating and
maintaining industrial printing equipment. Strong attention to
detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot and
resolve mechanical problems. Good communication skills to
effectively work within a team. Basic knowledge of computer
operations for digital printing tasks. Medical Insurance Dental
