Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
Five to ten years commercial banking experience with strong CRE
Strong financial analysis, credit/risk underwriting and decision
Demonstrated business development experience with history of
proven sales achievement.
Completion of a formal credit training program.
The Commercial Banking Officer is responsible for ongoing daily
management of borrowing and depository relationships with existing
commercial banking clients and the development of new client
relationships for the Bank with a focus on commercial real estate.
Ongoing management to include appropriate portfolio management
responsibility to ensure high credit quality standards are
maintained. Position is also responsible for facilitating sales
referrals to business partners (Trust, Insurance, Treasury
Management, Retail, Securities, Residential Lending, etc.) Position
will also support the Bank's CRA lending initiatives. Officer is
expected to be involved in a minimum of two community

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as a consultant to clients and a resource to the Bank in
developing and retaining business.
Demonstrates solid product and operational knowledge.
Possesses excellent CRE lending knowledge and strong portfolio
Ability to oversee and coordinate the entire loan process from
application through negotiating and closing.
Ability to develop relationships with external resources and
centers of influence to assist in sales efforts.
Utilizes a high degree of creativity and independence in all
aspects of position.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with projects.
Must possess analytical and professional skills to resolve
complex customer issues using appropriate resources.
Ongoing support of the Bank's sales culture. Originate, develop
and maintain relationships with business customers for both lending
and depository accounts, through direct and ongoing sales calls and
Analyzes financial statements and customer profiles to support
the needs of both existing and new potential customers. Conducts
sufficient financial analysis of proposed transactions and requests
from customers to sufficiently screen those transactions presented
for high probability of approval success.
Works with Credit Risk Management department to effectively and
efficiently manage the credit analysis and decision submission
process, for those transactions and customer relationships for
which CRM participation is required.
Active participation in community and civic organizations.
Cross-sells banking services to existing and prospective
