Essential Job Functions:1) Setup, operate, and maintain fabrication equipment according to specifications, including but not limited to: hydraulic presses (up to 7500 Ton), rolling mills and annealing furnaces.2) Use dies and flat blocks to forge metals of various types, purities, and alloys in the manufacture of sputtering targets. 3) Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely load/unload dies and parts to and from presses.4) Utilize measurement tools and CMM's to ensure product specifications are met within allowable tolerances.4) Multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment to accomplish an efficient work flow.5) Perform daily recordkeeping, paperwork and electronic data entry.6) Follow Procedures, Standard Work and Job Instructions. Contribute to revisions to procedures when necessary.7) Contribute to a positive working culture where teamwork and dedication to quality and safety are paramount values. Qualifications: 1) High school diploma or equivalent.2) 3+ years experience working on hydraulic presses in a production environment is preferred.3) Certifications in Hydraulics, Tool & Die Making, and/or other related trades are preferred.4) Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic problem solving.5) Ability and willingness to read, understand, and accurately follow all procedures and schedules.6) Ability and willingness to work effectively and safely as part of a team.7) Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and the ability to work in hot environments.8) Computer skills and understanding of basic metallurgy are a plus.9) Experience leading teams is preferred.

SPECIAL NOTES: This department will transition to modified shift schedule beginning 1/1/2021, as follows: a. 1st shift: 4 x 10 schedule, 6 am - 4 pm, Monday-Thursday b. 3rd shift: 4 x 10 schedule, 8 pm - 6 am, Monday-Friday c. Weekend Shift: 3 x 12 schedule, 6 am - 6 pm, Friday-Sunday d. The current offering is for a weekend shift position with hours and days worked as noted above.
