Responsibilities

About the Job:

The Total Rewards Analyst supports the Compensation and Benefits function with the administration of compensation and retirement programs for 10,000-person healthcare system. Performs compensation research and analysis to recommend pay grades and adjustments based on market data and prepares and submits data for compensation surveys. Administers the funding, employer match, and daily operations of the retirement plans. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Job Duties Include:

  • Administers the funding, legal compliance, and daily operations of retirement plans
  • Complete annual non-discrimination testing, calculation, payout, and communication of annual employer contributions
  • Identify and advocate for process improvement opportunities
  • Consult and advise associates on eligibility and provisions related to retirement plans.
  • Perform compensation research and analysis prior to grade recommendations for new/existing jobs.
  • Determine appropriate FLSA classification and salary ranges
  • Update and maintain job descriptions
  • Prepares and submits data for compensation surveys
  • Complete reporting requirements for various agencies and organizations
  • Audit compensation for discrepancies, utilizing HRIS reports and queries
  • Provides technical and analytical support for a wide range of compensation projects designed to support business strategies
  • Ensure associates are top priority by promptly answering questions regarding compensation plans, market data and job descriptions
  • Manage the creation/revision and communications of the Total Rewards Benefit Statement project. This includes collaborating with external vendors, Information Technology, SEP Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the Total Rewards Team in various duties related to the analysis and maintenance of total rewards programs yielding detailed, clear reports from which management decisions may be based

Education, Credential, Licenses:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of benefits, retirement, compensation, and H.R. computer systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Mathematical skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal / Customer Service skills

Kind and Length of Experience:

  • 2 years Total rewards (compensation, benefits and/or retirement) experience
