This position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio with a half-week in office and half-week remote schedule.

Position Summary:

The Pricing Manager is responsible for pricing strategy and campaign optimization for existing and potential pharmaceutical clients. The Pricing Manager is the crucial point of contact for our client sales team and various cross-functional teams. Additionally, the Pricing Manager is responsible for the validation and accuracy of outgoing proposals and information. In this leadership role, you will coach and mentor a team of Pricing Analysts to ensure growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be a subject matter expert of product offerings and pricing strategies to ensures proposals are developed in accordance with company pricing standards and the right deal structure to meet customer needs
  • Guides the Sales team on which available inventory to recommend, the likelihood of program success, and opportunities to optimize proposal approach
  • Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop and implement streamlined and compliant processes and systematic solutions
  • Coach, teach, and mentor a team of pricing analysts to the organization's standards. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Be responsible for the validation and accuracy of outgoing proposals and information
  • Experienced working in a team environment where the results of the individual contribute to moving the team forward and achieving the team goal
  • Have an aptitude for and enjoy condensing large data sets into actionable insight, apply learnings from current clients and programs to improve inventory utilization, client return on investment, and contribute to the overall company success
  • Maintains holistic view on historical pricing data for client brands across programs

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pricing, Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Health Care and other related fields, or commiserate work experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in pricing, marketing, marketing research, statistics, and/or related fields
  • 1+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team and managing workflow
  • Deep experience conducting data analysis, pricing analysis, or financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel experience required (working with hundreds of thousands of rows, merging sheets, V-lookups)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and prior use of Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical data is a plus
  • Experience with R and SQL is a plus
  • Master's Degree
