Job Description:
A client is looking for a Field Service Technician for the
Mason, Ohio area for a direct hire job opportunity. The Field
Service Technician is a member of the Customer Support Department
and is responsible for the, maintenance, trouble shooting and
repair of CNC machinery at customer locations. This position will
hold all training sessions in Mason, OH and will conduct all
customer support in the Ohio region on CNC equipment. The candidate
will need to have an electro-mechanical skillset, with the
experience and/or ability to be trained on specific machine tooling
and CNC programming. When fully trained and promoted to an
engineer, they will work with the customer from the beginning
stages of the installation, to the implementation of the CNC
equipment. This position will involve Monday-Friday travel and will
need to be relocated to the Mason area if not already within the
region. They are provided a service van, fuel card, and per diem
for trips 2 hours or further.
-Experience traveling site to site working on Machinery
- Veteran/military background (army helicopter mechanic, turbine
engine tech, etc)
- Worked for/with Mazak, DMG, Okuma, Doosan, Haas, FANUC
- 2 Year Technical degree (Electro-Mechanical/Automation) OR
training/certifications in a related field (machine tool)
- 1+ years' experience troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing CNC
or heavy electro-mechanical machinery and equipment
- Some type of customer service/customer support experience
- Set up and operating equipment
-Preventative maintenance
