Job Description:
Job Description Joey is a young and growing local delivery
service. Joey provides customers with an innovated method of
locally transporting personal belongings, purchases, and really,
just about anything. Using a smartphone, it only takes about a
minute or two to place a delivery request, and from there, you are
connected with a local driver with the necessary vehicle type to
complete the delivery. We move just about anything, from business
documents up to an entire house move. We are looking for candidates
to fill our Operational Support Specialist role. This role is to
help keep our day to day operations running smoothly across all our
territories. The main component of this role are support for
incoming calls from businesses, customers and drivers to our office
line. This role requires a laptop and phone to successfully
complete the necessary tasks. Training and onboarding will be
completed at our office in Kenwood. Once you are trained and up to
speed with the position, it can be worked remotely. We are looking
for part time employees to fill shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, Friday: 8a-12:30p Thursday, Friday: 12p-9p Saturday,
Sunday: 9a-2:30p, 2:30p-8p, or 9a-8p. We need 1 person in each of
these days/times. Training for all aspects of the job are provided
by our company. We are open to picking and choosing your shifts if
they are not filled. Responsibilities include: ---
Incoming/Outgoing calls with the Joey office line, this can include
but not limited to: o Customers How to place a delivery request How
the app works Updates on deliveries Dealing with
damages/insurance/refunds Following up with customers for
feedback/reviews o Businesses New businesses interested in using
the Joey service Checking in on businesses to ensure we are
providing a great service Getting overall feedback and making sure
they don't need materials from us Helping set up promotions Helping
with any negative feedback/deliveries o Drivers Support while
drivers are on drives Adding/subtracting additional helpers Making
necessary changes to deliveries through our admin site --- Ex:
Sometimes customers miss enter addresses or change the pickup
location. Support for lead drivers --- Work with Support Team Lead,
lead drivers, and CEO/GMs on recruiting efforts (This includes
attending regular phone/zoom meetings) o Our business requires a
constant balance to maintain of of drives coming into a territory
and how many drivers of each vehicle type we have in that
territory. There is a need for communication between our
operational support specialists, lead drivers, and management team
at the lead of each city. --- Compensation o $12/hr o $20 bonus for
following up with a customer after a delivery and getting the
customer to leave a positive review. (Outline for making review
