Ready to reach your highest potential? Let's work together.As a Retirement Plan Consultant at The Standard, you will be joining a stable, g rowing sales team. Y ou will play a vital role in the sale of bundled and unbundled retirement plans through F inan cial A dvisors and TPA's in your assigned territor y. You will do this by developing exceptional relationships with advisors and TPA's through strategic consultation and relationship driven interactions. As part of the RP Sales team, you will work collaboratively with multiple internal team members (Internal Sales, Relationship Managers and Imp lementation teams) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. **You must be based out of one of the following states: IN, OH, KY.** Travel will be required, in acc ordance with current safety guidelines. May travel 50% or more during peak times of year. What you'll do as a Retirement Plan Consultant Achieve business growth through new sales of qualified retirement plans.

  • Work to meet/exceed assigned goals and implement sales strategies to establish productive and long-term working relationships with your existing network , The Standard's distribution partners and retirement plan sponsors.
  • Meet/Exceed activity metrics designed to create consistent and sustainable sales results Support "One Team" approach by collaborating internally to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction .
    • Engage with peers in the organization to problem solve and deliver results.
    • Leverage internal partners to support and aid the sale of new business .

          • Minimum of 5 years of sales and service experience in the retirement plans field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
          • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent preferred.
          • Professional certification required: You will be required to transfer or obtain a Series 6 /7, with Series 63 where applicable, OR a Series 65 license, as well as a life insurance license, within 90 days of your date of hire. These licenses are required as part of your position.
