Serves Hamilton, Clermont, and Brown CountyDegree Required: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Required: LPC, LSW, or MFT - Must be licensed in state of OhioEvidenced-based Intensive Home-Based Therapist will receive training and become certified in evidenced-based Intensive Home-based individual, parental and family therapy. The IHB therapy model targets youth between the ages of 11 and 18 who present with antisocial including some criminal offenses and other problem/risky behavior that could result in removal from the home. IHB aims to uncover and assess the functional origins of adolescent behavioral problems, and typically uses a home-based model of service delivery to reduce barriers that keep families from accessing services. Therapists have small caseloads; work as a team; and provide services at times convenient to the family. The average treatment occurs over approximately 4 to 5 months, with multiple therapist-family contacts occurring each week.
