C-State Accelerate Triage Coordinator (Grant Funded)
Overview:
C-State Accelerate Program (CSA) is a program designed to increase retention and graduation rates. CSA provides comprehensive student-centered support strategies to increase student success. Candidates must provide high-touch engagement and creative solutions to assess and assist student in overcoming challenges that might negatively impact student success. This fast-paced office environment requires exceptional time management, communication, computer, data-analysis, and interpersonal skills.
The C-State Accelerate Triage Coordinator will collaborate internally with academic administrators, advisors, counselors financial aid officers, admissions representatives, faculty and other college personnel to assure students' needs are addressed effectively. The C-State Accelerate Triage Coordinator will collaborate externally with a range of public and private agencies to assure that students are fully availing themselves of available social services.
Evenings and weekend hours might be required.
Essential Duties:
Foster positive relationships with students
Triage CState Accelerate students, which may include but not limited to:
Engaging in scheduling assistance
Making referrals to internal and external services
Scheduling appointments for follow-up as needed
Answer calls and triage as necessary
Utilize Signal Vine, Starfish, Colleague, Microsoft Office Systems, for data analysis, notes and appointments
Collect accurate data for analyzing and reporting for use in continuous improvement
Maintain and safeguard confidentiality related to all CSA matters
Manage CState Accelerate tutors attached to the program
Manage student workers and office staff
Identify and recruit eligible students
Collaborate with Director in conducting program review
Participate in assessment and other activities related to college accreditation
Assess individual student needs (academic, social and financial) using a variety of assessments and coordinate timely academic interventions for early alerts
Develop community partnerships and cross-campus relationships to build a community supportive of CSA students and program goals
Develop, organize, and implement group activities including but not limited to outreach, social, and academic events in support of the program
Coordinate with academic programs to serve students during advising and registration periods
Other duties as assigned
Note: Position is Monday through Friday with typical hours between 8 am - 6 pm but require some nights and weekend.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Two (2) years' experience working in higher education, preferably in student-facing position
Familiarity with community resources and referral processes for services
Knowledge and experience serving at-promise students, triage processes and best practice strategies
Demonstrated competency in data analysis
Ability to work varying hours, including some early evening hours, M-F
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree from accredited institution of higher education
Either a Graduate of a community or 2-year college and/or
Experience working with first-generation populations with academic needs
Experience in higher education-related organizations or projects
Ellucian/Colleague experience
Master's degree

Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and be a team player, detailed oriented, maintain confidentiality, and meet project deadlines
Excellent customer service skills in problem solving, analytical, decision-making, project management skills, and time management
Possess the ability to be innovative with demonstrated commitment to student success.
Demonstrated sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities
Reports To: -Director of C-State Accelerate Program
Compensation: -$48,000/yr.
Contract Affiliation: -Non-Bargaining
Status: - Fulltime
Classification: -Exempt
This position is funded in whole by grant funds, the continuation of which are subject to meeting grant outcomes and program goals.
