Overview:
Perimeter Security associates are responsible for monitoring the security of facilities through security posts, cameras, and patrols throughout the park. This is a full-time -position offering a competitive benefits package and many unique perks. -
Responsibilities:

• Provides high visibility patrols of buildings and grounds, including fixed security posts, in and around the park to ensure reasonable protection of the park's property, assets, guests, and associates.
• While patrolling or performing assigned duties, associate is to observe and report any disturbances, unusual activity or park policy violations.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
• Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
  Qualifications:
  
  • Must be able to work second shift (Third shift position runs from 2345-0815).
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, as the job involves working closely with both guests and associates.
  • Ability to recognize when additional assistance or direction is required and to seek that assistance or direction.
  • May be required to work longer than scheduled, due to the nature of the job.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Driver's License is required
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
