We are actively seeking a Business Development Representative candidate to join our industry leading sales team, preferably located in Austin, TX, Florida, Philadelphia/Central Pennsylvania, or Boston, MA. As a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified, "top of the funnel" leads for the Clubessential sales team that drive the pipeline and contribute to new logos and existing customer growth. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth within the Clubessential sales organization.
Responsibilities

  • Execute the reach out and scheduling of targeted geographical business meetings (via email and telephone) for Regional Sales Managers (new business).
  • Create, maintain and update Salesforce accounts, contacts, hunts, task, activities, etc.
  • Obtain a working knowledge of private club operations and the key decision makers needed.
  • Stay current with Clubessential messaging and solution value propositions.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and competitor products to enhance your talking points with prospective customers. Be able to comfortably answer questions such as: Why should I look at CE? Why are you better than "competitor X?"
  • Be able to qualify and review the club's market position and how CE solutions may/may not be a fit Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality/Club Management or equivalent work experience, club experience a plus
    • Two years of sales prospecting experience, preferably for a technology company
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail oriented, organized, a collaborative team player and strong self-starter work ethic.
