CHAPLAIN ASSOCIATE: This position is to provide Pastoral Care Support at Good Samaritan, Bethesda North Hospital and Hospice of Cincinnati.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION:
  • High School Degree
  • 1 Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (2 units prefered)
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in providing emotional and spiritual support with individuals from diverse backgrounds and from a variety of faith traditions.
    • Candidate will have experience with pastoral care, advance directives, crisis management, grief support, leading prayer services and reflections, meeting ritual and sacramental needs, and must be able to work collaboratively and flexibly with our Pastoral Care team, mission team, interdisciplinary teams, as well as be able to work independently on a given shift.
    • POSITION DETAILS:
      • ---------------------This role will be for PRN and on-call coverage in the Good Samaritan Hospital and/or Bethesda North Hospital regions within TriHealth.
      • Provides pastoral care to patients, their loved ones, and as appropriate, staff.
      • Position can involve travel within the TriHealth system, including Good Samarian Hospital and Bethesda North Hospital. Reports to the Manager for Mission and Pastoral Care.
