Job Description Summary This role is a Systems Engineering test
owner role. Specific engine testing for the F-series engines both
development and production testing needs to be completed. The
Systems test role will oversee the testing and test planning that
is needed in order to ensure accuracy and successful testing.
Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline
centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that
consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers
with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users
needs. The role has a good deal of ownership and effective decision
making required. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
- Owns and drives the 3D Cool testing post DTDR as well as any
follow on testing to be completed. Driving actions and preparing
for target to fire. Supporting assembly for all 3D cool
testing.
- Supporting production testing for the military engines. Helping
troubleshoot any production test issues to support delivery.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex
tasks or problems on test. Uses technical experience and expertise
for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple
internal and limited external sources outside of own function to
arrive at decisions.
- Defining test requirements and testing limits for 3D cool and
production testing.
- Developing specialized knowledge in the testing area. Growing
in expertise on overall testing details.
- Has in-depth knowledge of testing best practices and procedures
and how other organizations and disciplines integrate with the
testing.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May
lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build
consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence
others on topics within field.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or
a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in
systems engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems engineeringDesired

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills. This role is restricted
to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and
