We are seeking highly motivated and skilled physicians with fellowship training in critical care medicine to work alongside academic minded specialists in cardiothoracic and cardiology, staffing the CVICU. Appropriately qualified and experienced individuals will be considered for the position of Division Director, CVICU.Opportunity Highlights:\n

• Join a multidisciplinary intensivist group with backgrounds in critical care medicine, cardiology, advanced heart failure, emergency medicine and cardiac anesthesiology
  
• Established 12-yr old LVAD program, with now greater than 40 LVADs per year and over 350 cases total.
  
• New and rapidly growing heart transplant program
  
• 7-on, 7-off schedule
  
• Faculty and teaching opportunities available if desired, as well as access to clinical trials

    \nQualifications:\n\n
    
    • Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in critical care medicine.
      
    • Ideal candidates will have experience with ECMO, LVAD, and cardiac transplant.
      
    • Experience managing patients in the immediate postoperative period s/p heart transplant is preferred.
      
    • Experience in perioperative care of cardiothoracic surgery patients is preferred.
      
    • Individuals with unique training, job experience, or backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
