Human by nature.Our Taste and Wellbeing Science and Technology department is looking for an outstanding Research Data Scientist to help establish artificial intelligences with data analytics and performance prediction capability and to be focused on improving our proprietary digital devices for co-creation with customers, and consumers, using data science methodologies. -Reporting to the Director of Digitized Taste and Nutrition, and being onsite 4 days a week with 1 day remote in Cincinnati, Ohio, you will be the data science expert. Your contribution will be important to develop, and scale up, our digital tools, and you will connect with regional business colleagues to identify opportunity for us to collaborate with external partners.

• Design and Develop: Help develop predictive modeling and algorithms using data science and statistical science to optimize flavor formulas and food recipes. Design prototype databases of functional & nutritional ingredients to test out new digital technology and support new product development program. Develop and improve new interfaces for customers and consumers to work with our digital devices in new innovative ways.
• Collaborate and Partner: Collaborate with stake-holders to identify the opportunities, define use cases, and carry forward a project from ideation to commercialization. Lead research projects by working with cross-functional teams and potential external collaborators. Actively follow ongoing developments in the field of digital technology in the food industry.You?
  • Advance degree in a quantitative field (chemistry, food science, data science, computer science or relevant area of physical/life sciences)
  • 3+ years of experience in a R&D environment
  • Knowledge in deploying web-application in AWS or Azure or Google cloud.
  • Understanding in chemistry, cheminformatics and/or food science.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, results, and concepts to different stake-holders
