THE ROLE: The RV Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the service and maintenance operations of recreational vehicles (RVs). This role ensures that all service activities are performed efficiently, meet quality standards, and are completed in a timely manner. The RV Service Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact between customers, service technicians, and management, facilitating smooth and effective service operations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



* Serve as the main point of contact for customers needing RV maintenance or repair services.

* Schedule service appointments and provide estimates for repairs.

* Communicate effectively with customers regarding service status, estimates, and any additional work required.

* Coordinate daily schedules for service technicians, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.

* Manage the service calendar to balance workload and accommodate urgent repairs.

* Ensure that all service work is completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction.

* Maintain accurate records of all service work performed, including detailed service histories for each RV.

* Ensure all documentation is completed and filed correctly, including work orders, parts orders, and warranty claims.

* Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies necessary for RV maintenance and repairs.

* Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and manage stock levels to avoid shortages.

* Provide technical support to service technicians as needed.

* Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets the company's standards and industry regulations.

* Address any service issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.

* Collaborate with other departments such as sales and parts to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

* Conduct regular meetings with service technicians to discuss workflow, address any issues, and implement improvements.

* Ensure all service operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

* Implement and monitor safety procedures to protect staff and customers.


WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:



* Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive or RV repair is a plus.

* Experience: Previous experience in a service coordination or administrative role, preferably within the RV or automotive industry.

* Skills:

* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Proficient in computer systems and software used for service scheduling and documentation.

* Basic understanding of RV systems and components.




* Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, problem-solver, able to work under pressure.


Working Conditions:



* Primarily an office-based role with some time spent in the service shop.

* May require occasional lifting of parts or materials up to 50 pounds.

* Potential for exposure to noise, dust, and other elements associated with a service shop environment.
