efforts by providing professional engineering services in the
inspection and assessment of public infrastructure, transportation,

they need it most.
The Environmental Planner will be involved in large/complex FEMA
recovery projects located in 17 states across the mid-west
including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota,
Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah,
Wyoming, North and South Dakota, and Montana.
This individual should have expertise specific to their
professional background and must be available to deploy within the
17-state region listed above. Response and Recovery Deployment
scenarios will vary on each task order, ranging from 6-12 months.
Candidates must be able to deploy the entire duration of the
assigned task order and any option periods. The FEMA Environmental
Planner can fulfill the Environmental and Historic Preservation
(EHP) Specialist position for the FEMA Public Assistance Technical
Assistance Contract (PA TAC) IV contract. The EHP Specialist
conducts site inspections and ensure that any proposed project
actions comply with environmental, floodplain, and historic
preservation laws, regulations, and executive orders. This may
include conducting environmental assessments and environmental
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide
sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and
abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which
you are being considered.
Education & Experience:
A related degree is required + 5 or more years of field
* Must be a US Citizen per contract requirements
* Ability to obtain a FEMA Entry of Duty (EOD) clearance which
includes a background investigation with fingerprint and credit
* Experience in disaster recovery preferred, previous FEMA
experience a plus
* Ability to provide excellent customer service
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic
* Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team
* Requires 100% travel with 1-week rotations back home every 45
days, all federal holidays paid, and full benefits while
* Hourly position with all overtime paid at time and ½
