GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for
establishing policies and implementing procedures to ensure
accurate, timely and compliant completion of External Regulatory
Reports. Manage staff to ensure the development of personnel with
the required skill set,knowledge and experience to meet reporting
standards. Provide guidance throughout the Bancorp as regulatory
matters are applied to the various business
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage staff to ensure the requisite knowledge is developed to
ensure Regulatory Reports are completed in compliance with
o Recruit new staff from internal and external
o Monitor and encourage continuing education specific to the
essential duties and skills required for staff.
o Develop work assignments that are challenging, meet established
goals and improve work processes.
o Ensure ongoing communication of organizational activities so that
issues are identified and addressed.

* Develop policies and implement procedures to ensure External
Regulatory Reports are prepared in compliance with reporting
standards and filed in a timely manner.
o Coordinate the compilation of regulatory report instructions,
guidance and reference materials.
o Develop reporting policies that ensure compliance with reporting
instructions, identify reporting sources and outline procedures
used to complete the reporting process.
o Implement procedures that ensure compliance with the rules and
standards issued by the regulatory agencies for accurate completion
of regulatory reports.
o Review completed reports for technical accuracy, completeness and
* Consult with organization members to provide technical regulatory
guidance and gain an understanding of new business activities that
may impact Regulatory Reporting.
o Participate in organizational projects related to new business
activities and proactively engage others to gain an understanding
of existing business processes.
o Provide Regulatory Reporting guidance to organizational projects
and to seek automation in the reporting process.
* Review technical regulatory subject matter to serve as the
organization''s Regulatory Reporting subject-matter
o Monitor the regulatory agencies websites for emerging issues,
regulatory and supervisory updates and new regulatory opinion
o Review proposed regulatory reporting changes in order to provide
comments on the application of the proposals to the

o Ensure effective communication is maintained between the
regulatory staff and the Agencies.
o Ensure that Agency inquiries are promptly responded to and
technical issues are communicated to the Agencies for
