Position Summary This position serves a critical role in supporting
CAA business and user technology needs in partnership with the
Agency s third-party technology managed services provider. Ensures
that the IT service infrastructure and tools are in place for
productive, efficient and secure business operations, allowing CAA
to serve client needs. In addition to ensuring the smooth operation
of the Agency s IT systems, this role is responsible for a wide
range of projects and initiatives, such as leading the
implementation of critical business technology tools, serving as
systems administrator, training users, and coordinating day-to-day
support with the Agency s external technology partner. Success in
this role requires critical thinking, problem-solving,
communication and collaboration with users at all skill levels.
Essential Job Functions Under General Supervision Oversight of IT
ContractorMSP Consulting Partner 1. Acts as a liaison between the
Agency and the IT Contractor 2. Monitors the performance of the IT
Contractor makes recommendations to improve contracted IT services
3. Assists IT Contractor with deployment of computer equipment for
staff 4. Tracks and maintains overall inventory of Agency equipment
partners with internal liaison for Head Start to maintain equipment
master list manages equipment recycling once devices are removed
from the network 5. Ensures that the Agency has complete
documentation of all administrative passwords and schematics for
CAA s IT infrastructure 6. Keeps abreast of the schematic of
hardware and servers as the administrator for all contractor
installed hardware and software 7. Partners with IT Contractor in
the management of vendors that have a relationship with the Agency
and have hardwaresoftware incorporated into the Agency s IT
network. 8. In collaboration with the IT Contractor, provides
advice to departments on the most suitable IT choices identifies
technological improvement opportunities and works with the IT
Contractor in implementing improvements 9. Facilitates
implementation of new software and solutions by collaborating with
Agency Department Heads and acting as the project manager within
softwaresolution implementation projects 10. Participates in the IT
Contractor s annual (or as-needed) risk assessment of the Agency s
IT systems 11. Ensures IT Contractor is managing internet speed
that is adequate and reliable in the Agency s facilities Internal
Project Management and Staff Support 12. Provides internal
communication with staff for Agency-wide initiatives related to
scheduled maintenance, network outages, etc. 13. Manages and
controls Agency-hosted VoIP phone system and assists staff with
phone operations issues, training, and setup manages and
facilitates the procurement of Agency cellular devices and data
plans 14. Provides training to end users for Microsoft software
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 15. Assists users with
audio-visual equipment, speakers and televisions 16. Collects and
analyzes feedback from users to gauge satisfaction and success 17.
Manages process for software RFP s and evaluation of vendors 18.
Performs other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned The above

organizational needs as necessary Qualifications and Requirements
1. Bachelor s Degree in computer science, engineering, information
science, or information systems management. 2. 5-plus years of
experience in an information technology environment previous
experience in IT consulting or project management 3. Experience
with Salesforce is an advantage 4. Understanding of troubleshooting
and repairing complex IT issues 5. In-depth knowledge of a variety
of IT systems, databases and applications 6. Understanding of TCPIP
protocols and LANWAN configuration 7. Strong relationship-builder
and collaborator ability to build positive and effective internal
and external partnerships 8. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills ability to communicate effectively with users
at all levels, Agency management, and external partners comfortable
training and presenting 9. Strong project management skills ability
to set goals with realistic deadlines and assess daily, weekly,
monthly and quarterly progress 10. Strong interpersonal skills
ability to remain cool-headed in stressful situations patience with
less skilled users 11. High level of proficiency in Microsoft
Office applications 12. Strong critical thinking skills ability to
troubleshoot and problem-solve 13. Excellent organizational skills,
time management and attention to detail ability to coordinate
between multiple parties and projects 14. Decisiveness and good
judgment ability to prioritize duties 15. Valid driver s license
