Position Details:
Title: Building Automation Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Shift: Schedule will typically be an 8-hour workday, working 5-days a week (Monday through Friday).
Compensation: $70,000-$100,000 starting first year salary, depending on experience.

Travel: Around the Greater Cincinnati area.

Position Description: Building Automation Specialist
This is a full-time on-site role for a Building Automation Specialist located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The technician should be able to read BAS control drawings and mechanical plans and understand them well enough to plan the installation. Execute the installation of the wiring and controls, document the as built installation and direct less experienced technicians in the process.
--- Ability to read blueprints.
--- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
--- Basic understanding of HVAC at a minimum
--- Ability to identify potential obstacles to the performance of tasks and seek a plan to mitigate them quickly.
--- Experience in electrical trades with experience terminating wiring.
--- Ideally experience with installation of low voltage controls systems.
--- Ideally experience assembling control panels either building automation or machine controls.
--- Must be comfortable working on construction sites and using step ladders to perform sone work.
--- Ability to effectively communicate work plans with the customer.

Requirements:
--- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
--- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC and electrical.
--- 3-5 years of experience is a plus.
--- Strong leadership capabilities (In charge of 2-3 people at any given time).
