Job Description: The Electrical Engineering position is in a fast paced and dynamic environment requiring tasking flexibility to meet ever changing customer objectives. Primary responsibilities include design, development, and support of ruggedized electronics for a variety of military fuzing and ordnance systems throughout the full product life cycle. It will require the ability to work within a team structure as well as work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial. Essential Functions:

  • Design basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters
  • Design basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters
  • Troubleshoot using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.)
  • Apply modeling and simulation utilities (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.)
  • Create Technical Documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports, Drawings, etc.) Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience OR Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
    • Years of experience include some of the following: basic analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters, basic digital building blocks including logic gates, flip flops, timers, and filters, troubleshooting using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.), modeling and simulation utilities (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.), creating Technical Documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports, Drawings, etc.)
    • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain higher clearances
    • Ability to travel 5% Preferred Additional Skills:
      • BSEE/CompE
      • Experience with power supply and power conditioning design
      • Experience with power conversion concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies)
      • Experience with serial communication buses including UART, SPI, and I2C
      • Experience with Temperature sensors, MEMs accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and GYROs
      • Experience with general design best practices (EMI suppression, ESD protection, and Short circuit protection)
      • Experience in module design including component selection, circuit analysis, circuit design, and layout
      • Experience with schematic capture and/or board layout utilities (Altium, PADS, etc.)
      • Experience working in highly regulated environment
      • Experience with Root Cause analysis
