The Judge Group is actively seeking a degreed Accountant in Cincinnati, OH area! As an Accountant, your role will involve supporting the Financial Manager in various financial and administrative tasks. Let's delve into the details:Responsibilities:Financial Records and Accuracy: You'll meticulously examine company insurance accuracy and financial records by accessing the computerized accounting system.Asset Management: You'll be assisting with controlling the company's liquid and physical assets. This includes reviewing invoices, approving expenditures, and implementing safeguards to prevent waste or excessive spending.Budgeting and Profit Estimates: Prepare annual budgets and profit estimates for various departments within the organization.Office Equipment Approval: You'll approve office equipment purchases.Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze customer and department performance based on established budgets.Business Decisions: Investigate and make informed decisions regarding new business opportunities from a monetary standpoint.Financial Templates and Forms: Develop necessary computerized templates and financial forms.Staff Appraisals and Reviews: Conduct performance appraisals for staff members.Reporting and Compliance: Prepare ongoing reports for division controllers, state, federal, and local agencies. Ensure compliance with established policies, programs, and practices to produce safe, quality products.Qualifications:Education: A BS/BA degree is required.Strong working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office preferably with exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Experience: You should have 3+ years of experience in accounting.Your solid background in cost accounting will be an asset in this role.
