Job Description:

Title: Commercial Construction Project Engineer / Junior Estimator -We are seeking an Commercial Construction Project Engineer / Junior Estimator to join our close knit team. As an Project Engineer / Junior Estimator you'll be learning and training with the best. - You'll be analyzing construction projects, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates and bids. You will work closely with senior estimators, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the timely completion of projects.Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other related documents to determine the scope of the project.
• Conduct site visits to assess the condition of the site, identify potential challenges, and gather data for cost analysis.
• Identify the necessary materials, equipment, and labor needed to complete the project.
• Prepare accurate estimates and bids based on the gathered data and industry standards.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
• Collaborate with project managers to create project schedules, manage project costs, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Conduct post-project reviews to analyze the accuracy of the estimate, identify areas for improvement, and update the cost database for future use.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
  • Experience with diverse special projects and ground up commercial construction.
  • Strong integrity and willingness to learn.
