Job Description:
Position DescriptionThe Ecommerce Sales Specialist is
responsible for driving growth and development for the channel by
strategically building relationships with Amazon, Wayfair, and
other online marketing venues.--This role effectively develops and
cross-functionally executes online sales and ecommerce business
development plans.--Additionally, this role ensures that online
stores are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and furnished with
accurate, up-to-date content. This position reports directly to the
Executive Vice President of Sales.Key Responsibilities- Participate
in global ecommerce projects and product launches; grow Easy Way's
ecommerce business by expanding brand placement.- Manage product
catalog in online marketplaces and retailers; create & manage
optimized product listings to include product descriptions, titles,
and product images.- Analyze online sales and reviews for consumer
trends and insights to drive sales and performance.- Reach out to
influencers to increase brand awareness.- Remediate product,
shipping, and pricing violations.- Work with internal partners to
ensure best practices on ecommerce inventory management.- Partner
with any transactional web site creation, and provide ongoing
management, and data analytics reporting.- Other duties as
assigned.Competencies- Results oriented with the ability to conform
to shifting priorities, demands and timelines, as well as manage
and prioritize individual team goals and deadlines, in order to
ensure company deadlines are met, and strategic initiatives are
continually supported.- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving;
ability to analyze problems and determine solutions for
stakeholders.- Cross-collaboration skills via excellent verbal,
written and organizational skills.- Goal-driven and
results-orientated; able to work independently and within a team
environment.Qualifications- Working knowledge of Amazon and Wayfair
online management a significant plus.- Bachelor's degree from
accredited institution, with at least 5 years of relevant
experience.- Strong business acumen.--Demonstrated aptitude for
problem-solving and negotiation; ability to determine solutions for
ecommerce customers.--Demonstrated knowledge of retail ecommerce
business, and the general overall process of product design and
development.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
applications and contact management software.--Must be a proficient
user of Excel, with the ability to process and analyze data using
simple formulas and pivot tables.--Advanced user skills are not
required.
